I imported a character/scene and it looks weird in game!
For most cases, you just need the WideSlider mod.
Otherwise, you probably missed a mod or two. If the creator has specified a list of mods, double check if you have installed them. If not, you can try posting on the thread to ask for help, but no promises.

Always assume no. There is a high risk that the game may break, and you will need to reinstall everything from scratch. But if you have a mod manager like JSGME, it might help a little.

When installing a mod, please do note that this game is called Honey Select, not Sexy Beach Premium Resort, not Play Club. If you try installing a mod from another game, of course the game will break.
Otherwise, always keep track of what you put into the game, and always keep a backup of your game.
Okay, so how do I uninstall the mod?
Some mod makers are kind enough to include an uninstallation notice. Usually its just remove X files from Y folder, and you are set. But some complicated mods might replace original files. That is where your backup comes to play.
Wait, so you forgot to backup? Unless you are using a mod manager, F. Its time for the most interesting part of your life, reinstalling Honey Select. If you have the bandwidth, do remember that pasta Anon has a full backup ready for you.
I am looking to reinstall, but do not want to compromise my existing installation. What do?
Let's assume that you have installed Honey Select in C:\illusion\HoneySelect. Firstly, rename the HoneySelect folder to something else (HoneySelectBackup or something). Now proceed with your reinstallation with the same path before (C:\illusion\HoneySelect).
Remember to do test runs while applying updates or mods. If you ever mess up, you still have HoneySelectBackup to play with, albeit temporarily. Just rename the reinstallation to something else (HoneySelectNew or something), and revert the backup to HoneySelect.
With the reinstallation complete, feel free to move your UserData content and delete the backup, or stay paranoid and keep gigabytes of backup.
I am using 7-zip, and I was unable to open some .rar files!
WinRAR recently added a new RAR format called RAR5, and have made it the default format for .rars created.
7-Zip 9.20 supports RAR 2/3/4 formats only and doesn't support RAR5 archives. But latest versions of 7-Zip supports RAR5 archives.
That was quoted 7-zip FAQ page directly, so update your 7-zip.
I am playing on a laptop with touchpad. Nothing happens when I scroll!
The game does not work with touchpads. I would strongly recommend getting a mouse, as character making requires you to move the camera around with the mouse to see if everything is okay.
But, you can use an AHK script to map Page Up and Page Down to their respective mouse wheel action, like I did. If you are too lazy to compile the the script into .exe and trust me well enough, you can download my copy.
Do note that originally Page Up and Page Down moves the camera vertically. This will override the default behavior.
What do I do with these mega:/#!longabc012stuff links?
That is a convention for links to Mega downloads. If you have the Firefox addon or Chrome extension, you should be redirected to the appropriate link by clicking or pasting it into your location bar.
If you are lazy (like me), you can convert the links manually. For example, mega:/#!longabc012stuff is actually just mega.nz/#!longabc012stuff.

A couple of anons have reported success in bypassing the limit with MegaDownloader or if you are familiar with the command line interface, there is Megatools.
Alternatively, you can add a little more to your download limit by creating an account. Or, you can "Import to your Cloud Drive", and download it from your own Cloud Drive. However, there is still a download limit with an account. If all else fails, you can try a proxy or just wait.
